We were just getting our hopes up that things were going strong, but looks like all the rumors were true.

Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

Russell released the following statement:

“Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I’ll always adore her and I know we’ll remain friends.”

It seems that Russell may have even blindsided Katy filing the petition.

So, so sad! This breaks our hearts!! We were really pulling for you guys.

Is this what we have in store for 2012??? Booooo!

It seems that Russell filed the paper work in LA court because Katy’s family view divorce  as a bad choice; that they need to work it out. Well, JMO, but I think Katy can do a whole lot better than this guy.

God works in mysterious ways — and in the eyes of Katy Perry‘s parents, her recent divorce from Russell Brand is one of the ways, because God used to the divorce to fill the rafters of their church. TMZ~  ( God doesn’t work that way)

Katy’s parents want Tim Tebow to start dating their daughter and are trying to set it up! Tim Tebow is a Born Again Christian and Katy’s parents are preachers that are traveling all over the US right now.

Well, it seems one of his twitter stalkers came back around Nov 14 and has devolved into making veiled threats. Made some remarks about food poisoning etc.Could be why he cut short the crowd /bus/signing stuff.
The tweeter sounds very remeniscent of “Bianca” from last year or the year before. She hinted she was the (ex?)gf of one of the guys in Brazil who helped JG do the drum tracks for the Portugeuese song on Illuminations. She was very angry with Josh about something and constantly tweeted about how ugly, overrated , unknown in Brazil he was,etc .
No threats back then, but alot of ‘you’re not so great, not the person people think you are etc.’ Got the feeling at the time that she had been an established vocal artist down there and was majorly pissed off at him for thinking he was so much better than the local talent. At least that’s what most of her tweets alluded to – not nice, swellheaded, ugly etc. Thought at the time that maybe she or her bf had offered to sing/play on the track but JG declined.
Anyway, not sure she’s the same person as this latest threatening tweeter, but sure sounds the same but much more actual threats this time around.  PCJG1

Groban: “I’m surprised they didn’t put a blindfold on me”

Josh Groban is going to Schrute Farms. The operatic pop singer took time out from his busy tour to talk with us about his guest appearance on The Office tonight, as well as how he started acting, which tv shows he watches … and who he is currently dating.

Groban, 30, spoke with Limelife about his upcoming spot on NBC’s hit comedy, where he plays Walt Jr., the vocally-talented younger brother of Ed Helms’ character Andy Bernard.

“Andy is the first born, which is usually the favorite son,” Groban said. “So for whatever reason Walt Jr. stole his name from him, wound up being the happy go lucky one, is successful in business and can kind of do no wrong in the eyes of his parents. The episode kind of shows why Andy grew up to be the overachiver he came to be.”

And perhaps because Groban has sold nearly 25 million records using his angelic tenor, the episode will also feature a whole lot of dramatic singing.

“This episode will show a trememndous musical rivalry in the [Bernard] family,” Groban added. “The whole kinda musical tapestry comes to light in this episode for sure.”

Before being discovered in his late teens, Groban was originally on track to be an actor, but decided to pursue music after being offered a record contract. He says this childhood dream is finally being realized now that he gets to work on films like Crazy, Stupid, Love and on The Office.

So what else would Groban like to star on?

“I would love to play someone really bad on Breaking Bad. A drug dealer or something. I’m obsessed with that show right now. It would be wonderful for me to be on 30 Rock too. But if someone asked me to pick anything I really would have said The Office. It’s such a smart show, and I knew that the experience of being on the show would be great, and I was absolutely right.”

Sadly, Josh says his manic tour schedule prevents him from taking more acting roles. And from finding romance.

“No, I am not dating anyone,” he revealed. “That’s what sucks about being on the road: not a lot of time to do film roles and not a lot of time to date.”

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter/musician Pat Grossi—who goes by the moniker Active Child—is a voice to be reckoned with. That’s not just a play on words, either. By listening to any of his songs, it’s easy to recognize that the man has been gifted with an amazing set of vocal chords. But vocal talent doesn’t always translate into good music, however. In Grossi’s case, though, he has begun to amass some buzz and a fanbase not only for his falsetto, but for his song-crafting skills as well. With impressive production by Ariel Rechtshaid behind moving ballads such as “Hanging On,” “You Are All I See” and a more uptempo single that features How To Dress Well, Grossi’s debut full-length album has been shaping up over the past few months to be something worth listening to. Now, the LP, which is also entitled You Are All I See, is up for streaming in its entirety. I don’t know anything about this band or the lead singer~ Pat Grossi except that I heard a snippet of a song or two on NPR radio a few days ago and was amazed. I loved and I plan to buy his CD soon. I want to share the discovery with you.   OZY

GFC is happy to announce a “THANKS A MILLION” Celebration event, which will take place at the Hotel Pennsylvania in NYC on Sunday, November 13, 2011 (the night before Josh’s concert at Madison Square Garden in NYC).

Earlier this year, Josh’s fans rallied together to raise $30K in 30 days for Josh’s 30th Birthday, which enabled us to reach ONE MILLION DOLLARS raised for The Josh Groban Foundation. Now, we’d like to invite you to join us to celebrate and thank the many donors and volunteers who made it all happen!

The evening will include dinner, several guest speakers, and time for us to mingle and celebrate such an important milestone for Josh’s foundation. EXCLUSIVE: Will we see a duet performance by the Bernard brothers on The Office this coming season? Crooner Josh Groban has been tapped to play the brother of Ed Helms’ character Andy Bernard on the long-running NBC comedy series. This is the latest member of the Bernard clan to be cast as the network just cast Stephen Collins and Dee Wallace as Andy’s parents. This marks Groban’s first major TV acting stint since his star-making turn on Ally McBeal 10 years ago. (He has done a couple of voice over gigs on animated comedies and he also appeared on Glee but as himself, not playing a character.) It comes on the heels of his first movie role in this summer’s comedy Crazy, Stupid, Love., where he co-starred alongside former Office leading man Steve Carell.

Josh Groban has worked his way into millions of hearts with his soulful voice. But last year the crooner found he had a legal dork living inside him.

Josh Groban plays BlackBerry-obsessed lawyer Richard in Crazy, Stupid, Love, out Friday.

Groban recalls the thrill — and then the startling reality — of nailing his audition for BlackBerry-obsessed lawyer Richard in Crazy, Stupid, Love, which opens Friday.

“They didn’t even audition anyone else — I was super-flattered,” Groban, 30, announces triumphantly. “Then I thought, ‘Is this the type of guy I want to nail on my first take?’

“Maybe this guy lives inside of me,” he adds. “Maybe he is me.”

Not by a long shot, Mr. Groban. But the Grammy-nominated singer does show in his first movie role that a serious comedian lives inside him.

“I’m super-serious about my work,” he says. “But I couldn’t be less serious about myself as a person. It’s fun to get off the pedestal and get a pie in your face.”

Or to get into a heated on-screen exchange with co-star Emma Stone, who plays his eventually dissatisfied girlfriend in the film. Groban relishes the memory of filming the scenes at an El Torito restaurant with Stone and Liza Lapira, who plays Stone’s disapproving best friend.

“We’d go into these long improv scenes, spewing venom back and forth at each other,” Groban says with a laugh. “And then the director would say ‘Cut’ and (Liza) would say, ‘I’m so sorry, Josh Groban.’

“It got hot and volatile, but I gave as good as I got,” he says, noting that Stone was not so quick to apologize for the screen rants. “Emma would stay in character. She was Method on that one.”

It might just be that she was so shocked that Groban, or “Golden Grobes” as she took to calling him on the set, was startled at how “hilarious” her co-star was.

“I was just taken aback by how (expletive) funny he is,” Stone says. “Josh is incredibly witty and on it when it comes to improv. So it was surreal to hear the words he was saying come out of his mouth, definitely.”

Groban points out that his background was initially in comedy, performing in comedy troupes in both high school and college. He appeared on Ally McBeal months before his first CD came out.

“This is all in his wheelhouse,” says Love’s leading man, Steve Carell. “It’s just a wheelhouse no one has really witnessed before. He’s hilarious.”

There’s not much of Groban in his “obtuse” Love character. But the man who dated January Jones admits he does relate to the scene when Richard is “glued” to his BlackBerry at dinner with Stone’s character.

“It’s an iPhone for me,” he says. “When I get that buzz in my pocket, it hurts.”

He has learned to curb his PDA habit. “If I’m on a date, it means I’m very much interested in that person, and I do resist.”

Nor does he mind that Richard has to go up against (and lose to) Ryan Gosling in Love.

“I’ve been very lucky with some very lovely ladies in my real life,” he says. “So I was perfectly happy to be the schlub.”

Groban has shown his comedic chops with Glee cameos and his hilarious rendition of Kanye West’s Tweets on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. But don’t expect Groban to go full-time movie star anytime soon like Justin Timberlake. Groban’s still on tour promoting his 2010 Illuminations album.

Then it’s back to the studio for his next album, for which he’s writing material already. “I would never be able to leave music,” he says. “But it’s a wonderful opportunity to show another side.”
